This limited edition print is one of an exciting new series of birds and insects. Each is signed and numbered (limited edition of 50) and is printed using high quality pigment-based archival inks on fine art watercolour paper, embellished with gold leaf highlights representing the light shimmering from feathers and wings.  
 
The Avocet is a long-legged wading bird which commonly breeds on the coast.  It's an easy bird to recognise since its narrow upturned bill is unique to the avian world!

The print has outside measurement of 24cm x 20cm including surrounding border.
